Cleaning Glass and Glazing
For best results, use just a soft cloth and wash with warm, soapy water. This should be sufficient to remove any dirt and grime from the surfaces, and keep your glass in great condition

Remove all hand jewelry before cleaning or use a none abrasive pair of gloves. This will prevent any scratches occurring.
NEVER – Walk on your conservatory roof when cleaning.

Condensation
Natural ventilation in the room whenever possible is the best way of combating any build up of condensation. Just open a window or you can even fit an extractor fan.
Try keeping some low level heating on during the winter
|
months and don’t let moisture come through from any room, such as the kitchen or the bathroom, by simply shutting doors.
For security reasons, when you’re not in your property remember to close and lock all windows and doors.

Window Maintenance
Lubrication using light oil is recommended on all hinges at least once a year.

Locks & Hinges
To ensure locks and hinges are kept in good working order we recommend a regular 6 monthly programme.
Just a drop or 2 of oil on all locks and hinges will give you trouble free usage. Make sure that all parts are clean
|
before applying the oil and wipe any excess away with a clean cloth.
Protect surrounding areas before using any brass polish on any brass fitting.

Doors
Door lock will benefit greatly from an annual oiling, as will hinges.
The keeps will also respond well to the occasional light coating of Vaseline jelly or similar.

All external metal should be cleaned and oiled at least once a year.
Locking cams can be adjusted to greatly improve sealing.
